I coordinated and led all facets of design including analysis, interaction, visual, and prototyping. I interacted with the client on daily basis and incorporated their feedback into the final product.

The Problem

TradeCafé had no web presence to explain the buyer and seller benefits, as well as the rationale behind the process, to potential customers.

The Goal

The goal of this website was to showcase the international agricultural commodities market to attract investors and product buyers. This was accomplished through the use of big, beautiful imagery and simple CTAs.

The client also wanted customers to sign up to TradeCafé to help them meet their business goals.

Wireframe

The initial idea for the structure of the page was a step-by-step process that showed how an operations problem could be solved. This helped us see that that we could communicate the intended message much better.

The next step was visual design, which is shown below.

Final Design

We highlighted the product's simplicity, effectiveness, and ease of use through meaningful images and CTAs.

The website’s colors—blue and white—are based on TradeCafé’s branding. We used a contrast color for call-to-action buttons, to attract users’ attention.
