My Role

I coordinated and led all facets of design including analysis, interaction, visual, and prototyping. I interacted with the client on a daily basis using InVision, where I presented ideas and received feedback.

The Problem

Tokeet’s existing website was outdated. The client wanted us to develop a better user experience, helping the user understand how to use the product and its features without much effort.

The Goal

The goal of this website was to provide a simple solution to help the users manage their vacation rentals.

After searching for some time, Tokeet’s founder realized that nothing existed that truly fit his needs. Most of the established solutions were either poor adaptations of older hotel and property rental systems, or were newer products that didn't fully reflect all the various aspects of vacation rental management. Most importantly, they were difficult to use.

Tokeet’s founder decided the market needed a new and innovative approach. He assembled a team, and within a few months had launched the web version of Tokeet.

Wireframe

The initial idea for the structure of the page was a step-by-step process that showed how an operations problem could be solved.

It was helpful for me to see that we could communicate the intended message much better.

The next step was the visual design, which is presented below.

Final Design

For this website, I stuck to Tokeet’s branding colors of green and turquoise.

I used clear infographics to help the user understand each section. To increase the readability of the website, I maintained a balance between white space and content.
